NEW “HADCON ON THE ESPLANADE” OFFICIALLY OPENED

More than 50 people have turned out for the official on-site opening and inspection of award-winning builders, Hadcon Constructions, new innovative housing development in western Sydney.

The 16-unit development “Hadcon On The Esplanade”, was officially opened by the Federal Minister for Home Affairs, Justice and Defence Materiel and Member for Blaxland, the Honourable Jason Clare, MP, at a special event in Guildford, on Tuesday 13 November.

Minister Clare was joined by Holroyd Mayor Ross Grove, Deputy Mayor Dr John Brodie, Councillors Pam Colman and Clr Nasr Kafrouni and Dr Judy Banko, the CEO of Ecclesia Housing (Ecclesia), a Parramatta-based community housing provider, as well as new tenants, designers and tradesmen who worked on the project.

All 16 units will be managed by Ecclesia under the NSW and Federal Government’s National Rental Affordability Scheme (NRAS).

The NRAS will provide an incentive amounting to a 20%discount from existing market rents and will clearly assist eligible low cost and middle-income earners.

Hadcon Director, Robert Haddad said today: “We would like to thank Minister Clare, the Mayor and Deputy Mayor, South Ward Councillors, Ecclesia Housing and all of our Hadcon staff and contractors for making the opening such a successful event.

“Hadcon is pleased that, in conjunction with Ecclesia, the new development will deliver affordable rental homes to families in the Guildford area under NRAS scheme – with a number of tenants already moving in.”
